Solo works under BTS
Under BTS discography, Jimin released four solo songs (Filter, Lie, Intro: Serendipity, and Serendipity (Full Length Edition). He also released a subunit (collab) song 'Freinds'. Detailed below is the performance for each song and our funding support.
FILTER
Released on Feb 21, 2020 as part of the 'Map of the Soul: 7' album by BTS.'Filter' is the B-side track with the most #1s on iTunes, currently standing at 117 countries, another historical achievement. Out of the 119, 87 were funded by us, 63 with full funding and 18 with partial funding. It is the only song under BTS that has managed to achieve an iTunes all kill in all the 119 countries with an iTunes song chart.It has peaked at #1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, and had spent 80 weeks on the same chart as of October 5, 2021, re-entered for the 81st week on June 22, 2022.In 2020, 'Filter' ranked 2nd on Amazon's Best Selling Songs for the year.It surpassed 500k unit sales in the US on March 19, 2022, the only solo song from the 'MOTS:7' album to achieve this.As a highlight, 'Filter' got a GAON 'Song Of The Year' nomination in 2020, the first time ever that a BTS solo track was considered for such an award!
SERENDIPITY
Released in 2017 as part of BTS' 'Love Yourself: Her' album.For the 'Intro' version, it has ranked #1 on iTunes in 54 countries so far (we funded 24) and surpassed 100k unit sales in the US.The 'Full Length Edition' has achieved #1 on iTunes in 59 countries so far (we funded 26) and on March 3, 2022, it surpassed 500k unit sales in the US.
LIE
Released in 2016 under the 'WINGS' album by BTS, his first solo song under the group.'Lie' has achieved #1 on iTunes in 57 countries so far. We funded 23 of these countries, 15 received full funding and 8 were partially funded.It surpassed 500k unit sales in the US on February 10, 2022, the first song to do so in the album.
